Golden Peacock Bridal Expo
Very often we get last minute jobs that require we shuffle resources and focus intently on a specific project for a short, but intense period of time. I am one of the few who really enjoy these forays into the unknown because they really challenge your creativity and help you advance your skills in both planning, and organization. Recently, a consortium of interested parties contacted Simply Interactive about creating a website for a bridal show they are putting together. I know this weblog is primarily for wedding videography news and tidbits, but I think stories like this will help anyone realize what they get when they hire a company like ours. Essentially, we got 98% of the info for the website two days ago, and I (being a web designer, webmaster, and all sorts of other hats related to multimedia) very quickly put together a website that showcases the popular design of today, along with the crucial information needed to sell their service. Simply Interactive is a multimedia company fully capable of wedding and event video, eLearning, video training, website design and development, CDROM development, interactive tutorials... anything involving visual media. We can manage audio media and outsourcing to a few specific companies, but our core members have a combined 60 years of experience in multimedia. I am proud to be a part of the success of the first Golden Peacock Bridal Expo. On the surface, this site may seem very simple, but under the hood, our design is always perfected. This site is in full utilization of CSS to maintain style across multiple pages, and enable the site to grow as their business grows. This consortium only hired us to create one page for them. Being a perfectionist, there is no way I could possibly cram all that information elegantly into a single page while adhering to both design and information presentation guidelines, so I made them a larger site, and again, designed it for easy scalability. Additionally, we created a CGI mail handler that not only sends eMail from a webform (cutting down on spam) but is designed to present the information using html in order to organize the information in an easier to read format. Again, this stuff is under the hood, but this type of service is what we offer everyone. Totally Outrageous Customer Service is our motto. Our goal is to always give you more than you asked for, more than you bargained for, and wherever possible, in unexpected and pleasant areas. Cheers
