I am very happy to say that Simply Interactive llc has just signed a contract with Jim Hatlo, a Carmel native, to act as an authorized representative of Simply Interactive llc in the greater Monterey Bay Area. Effectively, he will be providing videography service from Santa Barbara all the way through to Half Moon Bay, as well as parts of Los Gatos. This agreement has been in the works for the better part of 6 months and is beneficial for all involved including you, our customers. Traditionally, when an event is more than 60 miles from our base of operations (Menlo Park), additional fees for hotel stays are required to ensure we are not exhausted while travelling, or not up to par for your event. Under this agreement, all central California coastal areas will not have to worry about this extra fee. Jim Hatlo and I have been working together on various projects since 1997 and, in fact, was my mentor when I first started getting involved in multimedia. Since then I have gone on to receive many awards for the pioneering work I have been involved with in the realm of web and handheld device multimedia development, but Jim definitely gave me a launching pad into my career choice. It is to my honor that he now works for me in a company that in no small part was built around his direction when I first started getting into the business. Simply Interactive is now and has always been 1 part Rusty and 1 part Jim even though he was not on board yet. More on Jim will come later in the About Us section of the website. Welcome Jim!
