New Demo Available
I took a few moments over the weekend to redesign the portfolio page a little bit and to remove some of the older demos on the site. You can view the new page here. Of note on the new page is the snapshots taken from the video we captured and the name sof the videographers involved in the actual video shoot. I have had the wonderfuly opportunity over the last few weeks to work with a few videographers to determine if I will hire them for Simply Interactive jobs. I have definitively decided on one new videographer. I think I'd have something wrong with me if I did not hire this one because he has this ability to see what is around him and use it to the advantage of the video. That trait may seem simple to some of you, but I can't tell you how many videographers I've run across that simply shoot what's there and do not try to create anything. The difference is the same as watching A Wedding Story, and watching the evening news. One creates emotion, the other simply shows what was there. Of course, the rest of the creation of the emotion happens in the editing room. As an editor I know that, but you have to have great video to work with. Simply Interactive works with 5 videographers on a regular basis. I am always the main videographer unless a date is already booked and the couple would still like to use Simply Interactive to handle their wedding video needs. This year Simply Interactive has taken care of 3 weddings on a single day twice, and once this year, we are going to be doing 6 weddings in a single weekend. That does make us very busy, but when you have access to the talent that we use here at Simply Interactive it is always a fun time.
